We stopped here on our way to the ferry. It was a nice little stop. The trail to the petroglyphs is about 600 mts. No washrooms or wheelchair access.

Wow this Petroglyph site is amazing ❣️ A roadside rest area along with this Park, it's a nice rest from the highway or if you're passing threw. Located just as you will enter the city. A beautiful walk to the Petroglyph site, real easy not very long and then the return back is a loop, nice trail. The Petroglyphs date back Centuries and are in great shape can still see them as well the knowledge provided for each Petroglyphs.
Since Time immemorial First People's have occupied the lands of Turtle Island 💯❤️🔥😎Long before newcomers had arrived.
Walking this trail to get to the site is like walking back in time ❤️ the many Generations that had knowledge of this site and how it's still Here❣️ Just like the First People's We Are Still Here 💪🏾✊🏾

This is a very short trip so definitely have more on your itinerary for the day. This place takes about 20 minutes to see, very short walk up a small hill. The petroglyphs need to be preserved and the area taken care of, it would be horrible to lose this piece of history. I think I come down to a lack of respect for the people that built this area as there are signs of vandalism and graffiti in and around the site. Thankful to have seen this place and experience this historic petroglyph in person.
