Great place with an awesome atmosphere! You can enjoy bowling, play various arcade games, and grab some good food at reasonable prices. A special shout-out to April — she made our experience extra fun and memorable! Perfect spot to spend time with family or friends.

My husband and I took our grandsons to the Nanaimo Splitsville on January 3. The place was busy, packed with people. Yet, there were enough staff on shift and they were incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was one of families really enjoying themselves. The place was clean. The only complaints were a number of the arcade games were out of order and there was a long wait for the food. But again, the staff were incredible.

Splitsville in Nanaimo is a great place to spend a few hours, especially with family. I brought my special needs brother here, and aside from one staff member who wasn’t the most pleasant, the rest of the team went out of their way to make the experience enjoyable for him. He had a blast playing arcade games and was thrilled to trade in his tickets for a whoopee cushion — one of his favourite things.
The arcade area has been updated recently with new games, including a VR station, and while it can get a little pricey, $40 gets you a decent run. The bowling was the real highlight: it was our first time trying 10-pin, and the glow-in-the-dark setup was a fun surprise. There’s also an interactive screen that adds goofy effects based on how you bowl, which really made my brother laugh. Bowling prices were lower than expected, and the food options were a nice bonus. Overall, a very positive and memorable experience.
